ARB Vacancy
There is a vacancy on the Mills County Appraisal District Appraisal Review Board for the 2024/2025 term. The ARB hears appeals from property owners in Mills County on their value proposed by the District and renders their decision based on the evidence presented.
Anyone who is interested please come by the District office for an application for the position. Applicants will be presented to the District Judge in December. The District Judge makes the decision regarding who to appoint.
A daily stipend is paid to ARB members for their time in training and participation in hearings. The time commitment is normally approximately 5 days (more or less) annually from May to August.
